PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY.On June 15, 2015, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK from Durham NC arrived at our home to pack our household goods at 8:30 am and left at 8:00 pm.
They took our furniture to Durham where it was kept in their storage facility for 6 months. On December 17, 2015, the movers delivered the furniture to our new house. As the movers brought the different pieces of furniture into the house, we realized that pieces of furniture was terribly damaged: broken, scratched to include tables, chairs, china cabinet, two entertainments set, bookshelves, bed frame, bed side tables, chest drawer, dishes, glass wear, frames, lamps, floor lamps, ceramic light house collection etc. and several items were missing.
It was a disaster! The company failed to meet the terms of their contact and was negligent in the training and supervision of the moving crew. After contacting various levels of management and attempting to meet with them in good faith to share our point of view and come to a mutually agreeable solution, we had no cooperation or even an acknowledgment of the severity of the damage (±95%). Some of the management people were extremely rude to us.
Letters written by us to them were returned unopened. They even acted like they really were not surprised about the audile and they even didn’t act concern enough to try to found out when and how it happened. And they call themselves “Movers Who Care!
What a joke!PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY!
